11/25/09 Happy Thanksgiving

Just a quick note to say Happy Turkey Day to all! The puppies are in their new digs in the den and loving the space. Momma Dog is loving the new freedom from 24 hour puppy milk machine service to on-call:) We are starting to feed them by fingers the puppy formula for weaning. They seem to like it but don't understand yet how to eat it. This comes with lots of patience and time. We will be practicing all weekend. I have my airbed setup next to their new X-pen. Sassy will sleep with me so she can wake me for feeding times. Like 8 crying puppies wouldn't wake you up..:) They are changing so rapidly - it is truly exciting! I thank God for giving me such an opportunity and honor to help raise these wonderful puppies! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
